Slave Steel is a project that started in Rome in 2008 and over the years has evolved into the sonic squad that it is today. Rooted in Thrash, Death and Heavy Metal Influences, the music from this London 4-piece is characterised by a hammering rhythm section, groovy guitars, and acid vocals.

The bands newest offering ‘Shut’ is a short-edit of the full track which will be included in a 5-track EP due to be released Spring 2021.

‘Shut’ was recorded & mixed at Rogue Studio by Alessio Garavello and mastered at Fascination Street Studios by Jens Bogren.
The video was filmed on location at UAL (University of the Arts London) Black Box Project Space & Audio Underground Studio.

Slave Steel explain that “The lyrics were inspired from the poem Burial of the Dead from T.S. Elliot’s The Wasteland, both for the contents (disillusionment, desolation, loneliness) and the ironic tone.”
